Maricar Reyes who? We all loved her when she appeared as a guest in “I Love Betty La Fea” as John Lloyd Cruz’ childhood sweetheart who died of cancer. She isn’t just a lovely face as this woman is a licenced doctor. Unfortunately for her, she’s now in the hotseat because of a sex video scandal involving her and Dr. Hayden Kho, the infamous boyfriend of Dr. Vicky Belo.

Dr. Maricar Reyes dated Hayden Kho when they were still medical students. I had seen the sex scandal video of the two. They were in a relationship and they made love. It’s obvious from the video that she didn’t know that there’s a hidden camera filming their sexual acts. While I haven’t lost my admiration for Dr. Reyes, I would blatantly say that Dr. Kho isn’t a gentleman at all. How could he film someone who trusted and probably love him without her knowledge? Tsk, tsk, what a lowlife!

It’s confirmed! Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo have exchanged “I do’s” in a solemn wedding ceremony at San Juan Nepomuceno Parish in Batangas. It’s nice to know that they have successfully kept the wedding private considering their high profile status in Philippine showbusiness. Even the Megastar Sharon Cuneta who is their Matron of Honor kept herself mum on the where and when of the wedding when asked by the press.

Of course, we can only wish happiness for the couple. May you celebrate years and years of wedded bliss. Incidentally, their wedding date is also the wedding anniversary of Sharon Cuneta and Francis Pangilinan and the former’s beau Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres. What’s with April 28?

I wonder what’s wrong with Alfie Lorenzo that he never fails to write negatively about Piolo Pascual. Now, I’m not a fan of Piolo but I just happen to read what the showbiz writer and manager of Judy Ann Santos had written about the lead actor of the new Star Cinema Movie “Love Me Again (Land Down Under).”

I wonder what Piolo had done for Alfie to despise him so much. Is it because Piolo was able to become an A-lister in Philippine showbusiness without a loveteam? Or is it because Alfie thinks that he has not credited Judy Ann Santos enough for his rise?

I don’t think Piolo owe much of his success to his former team-up with Judy Ann Santos. I’ve been a showbiz fanatic for a long time and I first noticed Piolo in the mini-series “Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako.” Who wouldn’t notice him with those sheepish eyes and remarkable acting?

Really Alfie, you’re not getting any younger. I don’t believe Piolo did something so horrible for you to write all those nasty stuff about him. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

This one is old news (around two weeks old?) but it’s just interesting how Marian Rivera’s left boob said hello to the world while she was doing a dance number in an episode of S.O.P. but Marian was rather “cool” about it.

The “Mona Lisa-esque” smile that Karylle gave to Boy Abunda on Sunday’s “The Buzz” when asked about whether Marian Rivera is pregnant or not is creating quite a stir among showbiz netizens. Marian Rivera, in the presscon of her new movie, broke down when asked to react about that smile.

Some showbiz netizens have been commending Karylle for her “class” and keeping her composure answering Boy’s questions. Is it really classy of her to just smile when she answered “i don’t know” to the question of whether Marian and Dingdong are dating? Or is she just trying to be controversial? She just left GMA and has recently jumped over the fences of ABS-CBN’s. Marian is one of the hottest properties of GMA, while Karylle is known as the ex-gf of Dingdong Dantes and the daughter of Zsa Zsa Padilla.

I’m not a fan of either. I’m just questioning whether Karylle could really be called “classy” and “educated.” More than three years ago, she had a close friend in Antoinette Taus who was still in a deep relationship with Dingdong Dantes although they were miles apart. If some showbiz netizens have forgotten, Karylle started dating Dingdong knowing this fact. Is that classy at all? Or is she just following the footsteps of you-know-who?

In an interview, Antoinette Taus revealed that she only broke up with Dingdong Dantes when she learned that he was cheating on her with Karylle. If Karylle was classy and educated, she would have waited for Dingdong to end his relationship with Antoinette Taus first, but she didn’t. As the saying goes, what goes around comes around.

What kind of a man is Dingdong Dantes? IMO, Antoinette Taus and Karylle deserves a better man than him.
